China, President Xi Jinping emphasizes domestic vaccination already safety appeal

 

At a press conference on the 23rd of July, a senior official of the China National Health and Health Commission revealed that leaders, including President Xi Jinping, have been vaccinated against the new domestic coronavirus. About two years after China started corona vaccination, it finally announced the vaccination of the leadership.

The inoculation rate in China is 89.7% up to the second inoculation and about 56% up to the third inoculation, but the completion rate of the second inoculation over 80 years old has reached only 61%. Controversy over-vaccination is largely due to concerns about the safety of domestic vaccines.

Most of the inoculations are vaccines from CoronaVac Biotech (Sinovac) and China Pharmaceutical Group (China Farm). Foreign corona vaccines have not been approved.
