Toyota Motor announced on the 28th of July that global sales (Toyota and Lexus cars only) in June decreased by 3.2% from the same month of the previous year to 817,321 units, decreasing for 10 consecutive months. Due to the shortage of semiconductors and the disruption of the supply network due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, domestic production and sales were mainly affected.
