Germany announces policy to reform immigration system Aims to attract skilled foreign workers

Germany has announced a policy to reform the immigration system to create a more attractive country for skilled workers. The country is facing rising inflation due to labor shortages, but skilled workers tend to flow to other wealthy countries.

Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Heil and Interior Minister Phaser has contributed to the economic newspaper Handelsblatt, stating that they want to make Germany the country that immigrants are aiming for.

"We have to offer more than simplification to attract more capable people. We are fighting for skilled workers with countries like the United States, Canada, and Australia," he argued.
