The Tour de France, the world's premier bicycle road race, will perform the 19th stage (188.3km) from Castel Nomanhoac to Cahors on the 22nd, Christoph Laporte. (France) won the championship in 3 hours 52 minutes 4 seconds.
It is the first time in 39 stages that a local player has won the stage since Julian Alaphilippe won the first stage of the tournament last year. Alaphilippe has missed the tournament due to an injury.
"Many French people have been looking forward to this victory, and I'm happy to deliver it to them," Laporte said.
Jonas Bingegor (Denmark) finished 13th in the section and kept the overall lead.
